Damn, an electric production car! 0-60 mph in 1.99 seconds, 1020 HP, 400 mile battery range, super fast charging. 20,000 RPM
...where's that guy in a Cobra kit car??

Hear me out guys...imagine a 200HP electrified Triumph Thunderbird that weighs less than 700 lbs., it's not too far fetched.

An upgrade option is photovoltaic molded gas tank and fenders ; )

Yeah, that would not only be good for the climate, it would also help reduce overpopulation.

Back in the 1800's coal was dirty bad for the climate. Then gasoline was everywhere and now bad for the climate. Mining lithium isn't exactly good for the environment. And there disposal when they are expired. What source of energy will power all these EV's?

Exactly, and burned in fuel cells, thereby producing electricity.

Hydrogen in cars, I don't believe in. There is still the problem with NOx biproduct, poluting from a hydrogen driven combustion engine.

I could probably accept driving an electric car, but when it comes to a ride, it's a no no.

Recycling is being addressed.

A lot of alternative energies are being developed e.g. solar power. I believe the individual home will be the main power source for EVs. ...battery technology is jumping leaps and bounds.

Battery power has really evolved, disposal addressed means they don't know. I
don't travel far so EV it would be ok for me. Remember I am a product of the 50's, I like the sound of the exhaust. In order to build renewables at this time requires fossil fuel. Mining, transporting, creating, TV requires fossil fuel.delivering the finished product will be fossil fuel at some point. I think fossil fuel will be around for a while. If you believe in the bullshit that the world is going to end in 10 years, then what does it matter? Nuclear reactors are probably the most efficient was to go. Except for waste and everything produced will have waste, reactors are the cleanest. My home is not a candidate for solar panels and I wouldn't want them. Wind mills require fossil fuel in their mantaince and it takes 5 men to service them. Bullshit can't be the answer, we have a movement here to stop cattle from releasing methane in the atmosphere. If only we had a pipeline, and not rely on foreign hostile actors. A low carbon footprint of a pipeline until technology can do it better

Nuclear fission has too much baggage, no thanks. ...but I'm all ears when it comes to fusion. Anyway one has the right to live in the past, present or somewhere

There's nothing like the sound of exploding fuel If not why do we ALL have aftermarket exhaust.

I think a bike without a transmission (direct drive) is a nonstarter, that's half the fun in the twisties. As for the rumbling sound of a combustion engine, maybe play an exhaust notes CD.

Edit: I probably should ride a direct drive bike before thumbs down.
